How we got to our location?

We first waited for the bus to arrive at 10:30 but we had to wait an extra 10 minutes as the bus was late, the bus journey took us 10 minutes to arrive at the oxshott bus stop and then we took 7 minutes to arrive to oxshott woods

Friends in the group came to the location a week later to check out the location they took some pictures, in the pictures it looks very gloomy and dark which will suit our film genre

This is a google map of the location oxshott, Leon and I arrived by bus and kieran arrived by train, we can see the train station and we Leon and I met him at the station.

In adobe premiere pro i can use an effected called clone effect which makes the moving object or character to look like we can see and after image this can also tell the audience the moving character is extremely fast.

3.Three teens are walking, on the way to the party on the cold night one of the teens decides to make the group take a short cut but threw a contaminated zone as the walk through the short cut the stumble across a man that is struggling by holding his head and is barely walking what we know is that is the start of the apocalypse) then teens think it is someone going to the party as he is dressed in a weird outfit and they try to help them as soon as they ask any questions the man turns into a zombie and suddenly the teens are attacked by the man that is now a zombie but before he is questioning and explain what’s going on but in a struggling manor then the next scene would be the teens being chased by the zombie and the girl falls over and because both boys are potential  love interest it’s a competition to win her over but only one of the boys makes it out of the attack alive, then the opening will end and cut to the title.

2.We will have a blank screen and then it blurs into a phone ringing, the phone go to voicemail the wife says "hey honey hope your okay haven't hear from you all day love you lots"... and then it jumps to the man clutching his head in the corner turning into the zombie with his phone on the floor saying "one miss call from..." this makes the audience feel intense and worried because they don't know what just happened or why it happened

The props we are going to use will be zombie make up kit this is because we will be having a scene when a man gets bit by a random person who attacked the man, he loses his sanity and starts screaming then the zombie chases the main character in the film

We are using amazon to buy our props for our horror inspired film

The zombie make up kit will cost us at least £6 and will be a big help in making our film more realistic and might make our audience believe its real

Blinded Eye Sockets Latex Scar Application will also help us make the short film because it will make it more creepy and scary this will cost us £10

Fake blood will help as we can make it look like someone is bleeding and we looked up some pictures of people using fake blood and it looks very realistic, it will cost us £2.28 which is very good price and we will receive two tubes of fake blood

1.At the start of the film we will have a person on the phone talking to someone, then intensive music starts playing the background the camera changes rapidly to a window everything becomes silence we start hearing foot steps with each step you could hear the wood give way, the door squeaks open and a man looking down a knife on his right hand he moves his head up and the woman starts screaming because the man doesn't have any eyes he starts to charge at her but the camera stays fixed in one location and we see blood flying across the room and the lady screening in pain and terror
then we cut into another scene if zombies chasing out of a building and we will put some exploding effects to show that the source of the zombies come

Oxshott woods looks very creepy and mysterious which can make our short film very scary and creepy.the location is creepy because it looks like a forest and abandoned which is a key feature of what we are looking for and also we are going to be recording in the dark this is because it will make the audiences more worried and scared because they will struggle to see whats happening

In the preliminary task we had three tasks to complete, the first task was to get a camera shot of the door opening and then zooming in to the persons hand opening the door, this camera shot was very smoothly edited when we see the scene change and see the door close at the same time as the door opened, when editing the short videos we add some special effects like bits of the video fading to black and fading to another part of the video, The second task was to capture shot reverse shot where we record two people talking and having the camera change to the other person each time they talk.

Mise-en-scene is using the scene where we can see him falling going deeper into the ocean this can tell us he could be in trouble this is also developed more at 0:36 where we see a card board cut out of him with a hole on the side with blood coming out which could tell us he has a dangerous job and also tells us its a job involving guns which is proving its an action film

In the avengers age of ultron the main genres are Action, super hero and science fiction, we know this is a super hero movie because a few seconds into the video we see a flying man in a robot suit which isnt a thing yet and this tells us its a science fiction film, another scene that has science fiction is at 0:16 where we can see Thor dropping from a high place which is impossible to survive if your a normal human, This also tells us its an action film because they are fist fighting and fighting with objects against the criminals. we also can find out its a super hero film at 0:43 because we can see alot of things thats science fiction sometimes science fiction can be related to super hero in this case it is related as we see the Hulk fighting in this scene which is science fiction seeing him being a real life person.

The camera shots used medium to short shots this gives the intensive effect to us and also makes us feel like we are part of the film, we also see a low shot at  0:13 which tells us the character Thor is a very important and very powerful character in the film, further into the video at 0:31 we see a camera shot of all the characters/super heros which tells us they are working together and are fighting the criminals, the effect this shot gives is it makes the characters look powerful.

Mise-en-scene is used at 0:14 where we can hear non-diegetic music in the background, this music also makes the film feel intense and exciting to watch the film, also at 0:37 we hear an explosion which can also suggest its an action film and also makes us feel exciting because we never see explosions

The main genres in Deadpool are Action, comedy, Romance, Thriller, superhero, science fiction, Action and super hero is first shown in the first 5 seconds into the video we see the marvel intro to the film this usually tells us that the film we are going to watch is an action and a hero film because Marvel stands for a group that fights evil, action is shown at 1:17 where we see a gun getting pointed at a criminal also guns are usually related with action, the shot used here looks like a over the shoulder shot which tells us who we should be focusing on and also shows whats important.
Comedy is also shown in the film at 1:11 as we see the super hero land on the criminals face which can suggest its a comedy. We can find out this is a thriller film because at 1:50 we see an exploding car which was where everyone was this tells us that the people in the car are dead or dieing because of the superhero Deadpool which is exciting when we find out the super hero is ok when he leaves the car.

The camera shots used in this small video is mostly close ups and very short shots which makes us feel very close and also makes us feel like we are in the car with them frozen.

Mise-en-scene is used in the film at the start of the film showing an intro saying marvel, this suggests that it will tell us its a superhero movie which can make us think what is going to happen next. Another use of mise-en-scene is at 1:44 where we see a car exploded but everything is frozen which makes us look around in the film thinking why is this happening and what is happening in the film.

Anticipated Films

Films i anticipated is deadpool, Batman vs superman, now you see me, finding dory, Kung fu panda 3 I think these films will be enjoyable and I think these films will go for something different that other normal films dont have, e.g. Deadpool tries to brake the 4th wall by trying to talk to the viewer whos watching.

Saving Private Ryan is very different from the film Fury, Furys two minute scene was calm and with slowly building up to intense when the German riding the house gets killed, But in Saving Private Ryan it starts similar but quickly becomes more intense with the soldiers in the boat getting sick and tightly next to each other which makes this scene intense

In the mechanic it shows a lot of genres the main genres are action, thriller, drama, adventure, Crime fiction. We can tell this is a Action film because 20 seconds into the video we can see a weak and feminist looking guy enter this tells us its a drama because of how protected he is , he has bodyguards protecting him from people, this also tells us he is rich because it costs a lot of money to buy bodyguards. we also know its a crime fiction film by how the rich person gets killed 42 seconds into the film which tells us that hes an important person. we also know its an adventure genre film because there is one person who we associate as the main hero who shows up at 1:34 this also tells us the film is homoerotic because the film director is trying to show off the main characters muscles.
The camera shot used  3 seconds into the video is a low angle shot which tells us he is a very powerful character and also tells us he is an important character in the film.

We can tell this is a post-apocalyptic genre in the first 10 seconds of the video we can see that its deserted and we can only see one object moving which is the car.

We know this is a horror film at 2:56 because the main characters look into grass and they think there could be something hiding in the bush so he prepers to fire his gun because of what he doesnt know whats out there

In the first ten seconds of the video we automatically know its a comedy by the music being used and how the subject of the film is about drinking, the music used in the film is very upbeat and very comedic sounds used which tells us that it will be very enjoyable and fun to watch because of the sounds that have been used.
we also know this is an action film because in the film shows that five guys have to beat a challenge of going to pubs and drinking in every pub which we can tell the heros are the five people who want to beat the challenge of drinking in five pubs and the villain would be the pubs as they are in the way of them.

I am going to analyze pirates of the Caribbean the genres of the film is action, adventure, fantasy and also swashbuckler. in the first 5 seconds of the video we see jack sparrow looking around for loot we can tell this is an adventure film because he is wearing old and pirate clothes which is usually linked to the adventure genre.
In the video at 33 seconds into the video we see that a fight has started this tells us this is an action film as sword fighting is related to action films we also know the sword fighting scene has started because of the music that plays in the background, the beat it creates makes us like the music and feel like its a final fight. Another way we know this is an action film is how everyone has a weapon which is a swords which is related to the action genre
We can also find that its in the fantasy genre because at 54 seconds into the video we see an undead human rise and join in the sword fighting we suggests the rest of the film will also have a lot of fantasy in it.

A key moment in the trailer is at 0:40 where Dom leaves his wife to die, the wife is trapped and cant escape, this makes us the viewer think what happens if you were her. The camera shot used is far shot this is effective because it tells us Dom is weak as his wife is powerful in trying to show that she thinks Dom will comeback to get her.

The next shot that is effective is at 1:03 , The shots used are being used is long shot and also close up shot which is also effective because it puts us in Doms shoes when he was running and getting chased by zombies afar which makes us want to know how they look but also feel terrified because we know how dangerous they are.

Target audience of horror films

I think the age group for horror films is 18 to 30 year old this is because people around this age group will be less scared of jump scares and creepy atmosphere will enjoy the horror cliche, but some horror lovers will try to find a horror that doesn't follow the cliche of horror films.

Films horror films might watch: Scream, jeepers creepers, woman in black, the shinning.
People want to watch horror films because they want them to be frightened by the horror film also they want it to affect them in some way so they can keep watching the video.

Action films are usually aimed at middle aged men and woman as they will find the action genre more fun and interesting to watch.
The main things audience of the action film would be profiled is people like watching action films because they want to feel like they are on edge when watching an action film, another feature of the action is people want to watch an action film but with a little bit different then just an action film.

We can first tell this is a action film because we can see green numbers going down ( 0:53 ) which can be related to hacking and hacking is usually related to action films as hackers are usually the enemy or allies in action films.

In the movie 'Fury' the main genres are War, horror and action, I can 'Fury' is a war film by how the person riding the horse looks around for any survivors around the dead bodies laying on the ground and I can also see the destroyed tanks. The film 'fury' shows its genre of war with death which is shown when the american stabs the nazi on the horse and tanks which is most of the time related to war.
The film 'Fury' also shows action when later into the film there is tank battles which becomes very intense as you try to see who survives against the Germans.

Introduction

My favorite film

My favourite film is 'I am Legend' and it is also directed by 'Francis Lawrence' and was made in 2007 the genres are post-apocalyptic and horror, The film is also based in new York. I enjoyed this film because it was the first film I watched that had zombies in it and it also made me cry as I found it really sad, The scene that made me cry was when the dog got bitten and the owner 'Robert Neville' has to kill the dog so he doesn't turn into a zombie. I also like the story line as I felt like I was part of the film and can have feelings for the characters sadness and depression of being the only human alive, I also like the concept of how he is the only human alive and hes living with his pet dog 'Sam' and they have to fight off the virus that has spreaded around the world. Robert Neville acted by Will smith Robert is a scientist who was developing a cure for cancer but that cure for cancer turned into a virus that has affected the world and turned everyone to zombies, Later into the film Robert Neville finds that the zombies have intelligence and feelings for there past life of being humans with their own familys

Why I like the film of my choice

I have lots of favorite films and genre but my mainly favorite genre is post-apocalyptic, horror films and action, i find this interesting because it makes me feel like i'm in the film and feel like I know the characters in the film.
